The Woodcock–Muñoz Foundation engages in selected outreach programs to encourage the development of contemporary cognitive assessments, effective instruction, and model assessment practices. The following projects are in operation: The WJ International Edition Project: The Woodcock-Johnson International Edition Project consists of the development of a small number of noncommercial, contemporary cognitive assessment instruments for specific populations in Eastern Europe or other areas, based on need. The WMF Cuba Outreach Project: This project is intended to foster collaboration between the WMF and professional examiners in Cuba with an emphasis on bringing contemporary cognitive assessment practices to Cuba. The WMF Visiting Lecturer/Scholar Program: This program is designed for instructional materials grant program universities; it supports teaching practices and research efforts at those institutions. A limited number of Visiting Lecturer/Scholar opportunities are available.
