The Compositator, by W. Joel Schneider, Ph.D., is a tool designed to provide assessment professionals who use the Woodcock-Johnson® III Normative Update Compuscore and Profiles Program, version 3.1 (WJ III NU) and the Woodcock Interpretation and Instructional Interventions Program, version 1.0 (WIIIP) with user-friendly statistical methods to create customized composite scores.
Note 1: Before installing the Compositator, you must have either the WJ III Compuscore and Profiles Program, version 3.1 (WJ III NU) software or the Woodcock Interpretation and Instructional Interventions Program, version 1.0 (WIIIP) software installed on your computer. During installation, the Compositator will check to see if the following prerequisites are installed on the machine:
The user will be prompted to install these prerequisites if they are not already installed.
Note 2: Administrative privileges are required to install these prerequisites. If any of the three prerequisites needs to be installed, use an account with administrative privileges to install the program(s), or contact the system administrator. After the Compositator has been installed with an account with administrative privileges, the program can be installed by any other account type. Each user must install the Compositator; the program has been designed this way to maintain confidentiality of data between users on the same machine.
To download and install the Compositator, complete the following steps. You may want to print these instructions for reference before downloading and installing the Compositator.
Downloading the Compositator
Download the Compositator by clicking the Download button below. Save the file to a local drive on your computer. (Please note, the file size is 65MB, so it may take a few minutes to download, depending on your connection speed.)
Installing the Compositator
To maintain a backup of the program after installation is complete, you may wish to burn the Compositator installation program (i.e., the zipped file you initially downloaded) to a CD-ROM.
